3.5 stars This was a nice, hot read that I can recommend, but there were a few things that bugged me. While this was not insta-love, many life-changing events were decided pretty quickly. Tag/Lee met Dr. Erik Henrikson and decided to quit his rock group (the most popular group in the world, as explained in the book) and buy the house with the white picket fence and settle down with a family. Even if he had been thinking about retiring because of the stress and loss of the rock-star fringe benefits before meeting him, it was still only a thought. Lee and Erik meet for the first time in front of the hospital where Lee has just lost his sister and realized his niece is now his responsibility. Erik gives him some baby advice that night and then meet again a few months later when Lee brings his niece Delilah to Erik's pediatric practice. One thing leads to another and Lee has decided to leave Delilah in Erik's care while he is on the last 3 months of his road tour. Erik seems to fall in love with Delilah first, but quickly falls for Lee too. Bam! Another bone of contention with me is that we didn't get to see any grieving for the death of their respective siblings (Erik lost a brother recently) and while I'm sure plenty of mourning went on, these two never shared their pain with each other which would have made for some great healing/comfort scenes. Oh, and one more thing I just thought of. There are certain books written that will forever ruin you for a similar story line in another book. For me it's N.R. Walker's Point of No Return. There is a hostage situation in Deliver Me but since nothing can top the hostage scene from PoNR, it failed to bring the emotion I suspect it was supposed to. But the sex here is hot and plentiful and I really enjoyed both main characters. If this book is intended to be the first in a series, I have to say I probably won't read it. The secondary characters did nothing for me. (But given the fact that the epilogue took place during Delilah's wedding, I doubt it will happen.) Recommended read, with caution. Read it as a light, easy, low angst book and it will hit the spot! This review is also posted at Gay Book Reviews

I've had this tbr for over two years and finally decided to take the plunge. I was not disappointed. Oddly enough, the drama in this one would normally have sent me running for the hills and dnf quick. I'm not a huge fan of rock star romances because, as was in this one, the rock star is usually a manwhore of epic proportions. Tag (Lee) certainly got around. But throw in a jealous, possessive bff who thinks he's Lee's boyfriend and another crazy bff, Sarah, who wants Erik for her husband and the drama is a bit much. However, I really liked this book. It grabbed me from the first page and didn't let up, drama and all. I absolutely LOVED Lee (Tag). He was the perfect hero in my book. He did everything right. I had a bit of a hard time liking Erik. I liked him at first, the way he was with Delilah. But then he started to grate on my nerves with his holding back from Lee. And then we have the big misunderstanding (god save me from stupid men) and Erik won't fucking talk to Lee. If he'd only given him a minute to explain or questioned him a bit more it could have been avoided. But then it would have been a short book. So overall, I really enjoyed it. But, I'm not sure I want to read Cade's book. He was so in love with Lee and was a huge asshole so I don't really have any warm and fuzzy feelings towards him to get his HEA. But you never know. I had no idea I'd like this one so much.

4 stars for this sweet story I read the second book Release Me first. I liked it way more than this one. I am not sure if it is because I didn't get the chance to hate Cade while reading Deliver Me. This story was sweeter than I expected. I usually love SOME sweet talk and some sweet scenes, BUT somehow I didn't expect the characters to fall in love so quickly, so deep in so little time. It was unexpected how they wanted to change their lives completely. From the start I expected a lot of angst, 4 stars for this sweet story I read the second book Release Me first. This book was HOT and sweet and it was a very pleasant reading.

Deliver Me is a fast pacing, sweet rockstar m/m romance that left me with quite a sweet tooth. Taggart Lee is a rock star on the verge of giving up on his career after being left to care for his sister's newborn, Delilah. He had been burnt out by all his years on the road and is ready to settle down for a family. Dr. Erik is a random stranger that came across Tag and his niece at the park. He also happen to be a pediatrician for Delilah later when their path cross again. They are quite an integral part of the story that bring so much warmth to Erik and Taggart's life. Of course, we also have the semi-villain, Cade, one of the bandmate who was holding a torch for Tag and causing some drama behind the scene. Overall, Deliver Me is the kind of m/m romance that was cute and lovely. Although I did find the pacing quite fast. A bit of insta-love on Tag and Erik's part and the way their trust develop was swift. I still can't wrap my head around that Erik offer to care for Tag's niece while Tag is on tour after just meeting him a few times. Anyway, part of me love being in the fantasyland whereby we met hot random stranger in the park that end up being our soulmates. And my favorite part of a rockstar romance? When Tag serenade Erik with a song he wrote for his lover. Dayum.

I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised, by this one. I really enjoyed reading this short, but sweet, sexy rocker story. Lee is the leadsinger for the, very famous, band 7's Mistress. He doesn't have a lot of family outside his bandmates and the only one he does have, is his baby sister. But tragedy strikes and his sisters dies after giving birth to her daughter. Which leaves this famous rockstar with a baby girl. He names her after his sister..Delilah. Now Lee doesn't know anything I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised, by this one. Which leaves this famous rockstar with a baby girl. He names her after his sister..Delilah. Now Lee doesn't know anything about babies and Delilah cries her little heart out...a lot. When at the park, he meets a very handsome stranger and his lovely dog. Erik (and his dog..let's not forget the dog !) helps him calm down the baby and advises him to contact her pediatrician. What he doesn't say is that he himself is one...a pediatrician that is. There are sparks of attraction between the two men, but neither of them feel the need to let the other know. So ofcourse they meet again...when Lee goes to visit a pediatrician :) Now things progress pretty fast from here on out. I would definitely say this one is insta-love. Lee and his band have a 3 month tour coming up and he doesn't know what to do about the baby. Erik has always wanted a family and he offers to take Delilah for 3 months. I don't think...in real life...it would be smart leaving your daughter for three months with a man you just recently met. But hey, I don't read books to enjoy real life...I read them to escape real life ;) The two of them start a relationship based on sex...at least that's what Erik thinks, because he can't possibly believe a famous rock star like Lee, would want him and only him. Now this one has a few different plotlines going on. It has jealous best friends, an ex boyfriend, an awesome dog, a rockstar who just wants to finds love and a place to call home and a docter who really wants to built himself a family. I loved all the characters in this book, I just wished the book would have been longer so it could have had more details. I would have liked to know more about the characters, their personality and their history. I also would have liked a slower build relationship. I don't mind insta-love when it's done right, but I prefer a slower pace. That said...I still loved it. It was nice and sexy and it had some drama/angst. Not too much and it was resolved fairly quickly. And yes there is a misunderstanding in this one...but also, it was resolved pretty fast. Also....these two were HOT together :)) 4,5 stars from me, because it was exactly what I needed right now... !!

Dissecting opinion : it could have been so good. Granted, it’s fiction, but it was totally unbelievable with OTT moments (too many to mention). I didn’t DNF, but it was very close and I put this book down several times. Too bad : there was so much potential, but “WTF” popped up in my head too many times to enjoy this book.

Eric, a hot pediatrician soothes the baby and gives Tag some advice on settling her down. Of course as fate would have it, Tag winds up in Eric's clinic looking for more help. The two men become entwined in each other's lives and Eric winds up becoming a legal guardian for Delilah so Tag (known as Lee to Eric) can get back on the road with his band for their final tour. Delilah is the cause of turning everyones world upside down. This one child brought together the combined world of a famous rock star who's days on the road were becoming tiresome and a lonely doctor who believe it or not, felt his own biological clock ticking as he wondered if he'd ever be given the chance for a family of his own. What I loved most about this story was how there were so many characters that were handed a new outlook on their lives whether they realized it or not. Tag's bandmates, his manager and his two burly security guards to Eric's receptionist and his service dog Duke, relationships were formed while some were shattered. Eric and Lee were sizzling between the sheets too! In the end, for this one, big, crazy unconventional family, love wins ... as it should. Honestly, I'd give this book ten stars if I could. The writing was flawless with perfect grammar and sentence structure. The storyline was so enchanting that I didn't want to put this book down until it was finished. Outstanding job by author Faith Gibson.

Oh I couldn't put this book down! Tag was surrounded by thousands of fans but still felt alone. He felt like no one wanted to know the real man and only wanted the Rock God. Erik wanted to have someone that was loyal and wanted a relationship. He wanted to be more than a doctor to someone and realized how lonely he was. This had a cute dog, cute babies, sexy rockers, jealous friends and a heap of misunderstandings! Lee (Tag) and Erik fit together perfectly once they got on the same page. Faith Gibson is a new author to me.... and I kind of stumbled on the second story of the Music Within series while searching for interesting books. I decided to start with the first book and haven't regretted reading it. Loved 'Doc' Erik and super hot rock star Lee... and their friends. Cade not so much! What an ass! The big bad drummer has some growing up to do... Looking forward to reading his story Release Me.

The Blogger Girls My favorite thing about this book was the cover. That is no slight against the story, trust me, but seriously, look at that cover. The cover alone made me put this on my to-read list. Add a rock star and goody two-shoes doctor in the mix and I’m sold. Tag/Lee has it all; money, fans, his music, his band mates, friends, and women and men throwing themselves at his feet. It appears he really does have it all, but he doesn’t…he’s lonely and the only family he has is his baby sister… The Blogger Girls My favorite thing about this book was the cover. It appears he really does have it all, but he doesn’t…he’s lonely and the only family he has is his baby sister…until he doesn’t even have that. Sniff Erik is a pediatrician who is still reeling from a recent break up and coming to the conclusion that his chance for a family and a happily ever after is probably not in the cards. Erik has no family, no boyfriend, no kids, and he’s lonely. He does have a best friend, Sarah, who at first seems to be pretty caring, but quickly shows her true ugly colors, and I was left wondering how he could accept such a selfish person as his best friend. But you need to read this to let that bit of drama play out. Erik and Lee meet when Lee is at his wits end and Erik has no idea who he really is. These two start off with a tumultuous beginning and trust is hard won, but they were each looking for the same thing without realizing they were perfect for the other. Lee, as rock star Tag, has a history that no man or woman looking to settle down could trust. And sadly, Lee knew it and wasn’t proud of his past, but he didn’t try to hide it either. He was honest, wanted more, and wanted it with Erik. He just had to earn Erik’s trust and convince him that they both wanted a new beginning. I am not usually one who loves to read about men with children in my MM novels, but this is a case where it works, and works well. There were times when I thought they could have backed off a bit on the baby stuff, and truthfully I’ve only met one man in my life who nurtured babies more than women, and this book was overloaded with baby “daddies”, but that’s just me and I put those thoughts away and just enjoyed the love affair unfolding on my Nook. Besides the family drama, friendship issues, and backstabbing, there was also a mystery surrounding the oddball Sarah and her psycho actions. She was a nutcase, no doubt, and jealousy is an ugly creature, but she takes it to a whole new level. She and Cade, Tag’s best friend, would have been perfect for each other. So, to summarize, we have an amazing cover, a hottie rock star looking for quiet and love, a loving doctor dreaming of that white picket fence, best friends that convince me that maybe I would be better off without one, and a baby that brings them all together. So, go ahead and read it, I’m pretty sure it will rock your world, too. Overall Impression: I really liked it

Author, Faith Gibson has once again proven herself a phenomenal story teller with this book. She takes you through every conceivable emotion from lust to love and sadness to pain. Throughout the book I found myself clutching the nearest cushion to stabilize myself from the emotional highs and lows of the story. The love affair between the two men is touching, but their love making makes you want to touch or be touched. If M/M is your kink, then Deliver Me will most assuredly fill your need. Set aside the hot and steamy sex and the emotional upheaval and what you will find are some truly stellar songs written by none other than Faith Gibson herself. I can totally see a hard rock singer belting out the words to any of these songs, but it is Delilah's song that you will find on repeat in your head. Deliver Me is a #1 on my billboard chart and will surely sky rocket to the top of your list. I give this book an absolute 5 Stars and recommend that everyone who loves a well written book add it to their TBR. **I was given a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review, but I've also purchased a copy to be kept on my library.

I'm going to be completely honest with you. When I read the prologue my heart sank. I'm not a fan of rockstar romances you see, I think they are over done, simplistic and cliched. I don't think she was a particularly nice person or a good friend to Erik even in the beginning. I feel she and the storyline concerning here was superfluous to the story. Similarly I didn't like Cade but I understand that I'm not supposed to like him! Although he did go someway to redeeming himself in the end. I really, really enjoyed seeing Lee's vulnerable side. So often this is omitted and it was beautiful to see. He and Erik together were lovely and heartwarming. I wasn't sure about Lee leaving Delilah with Erik...I mean he hardly knew him and I would have expected more discussion/reluctance/checks. Similarly with the joint guardianship. I understand why he did it but it all felt a bit premature to me. The hostage situation seemed over the top and unnecessary, there was enough drama with the Cade situation without this. However....overall I really enjoyed this story and the characters, it had me hooked and I couldn't put it down. Copy provided in exchange for an honest review.

My first time reading this author. I loved it. Tag and Erik were perfect for each other. This really was a sweet story, of them both finding each other. (view spoiler)[Cade was an ass in this book, so I'm curious on how he will be redeemed in his book. (hide spoiler)]

Tag is the lead singer for the fictional band 7s Mistress – aka the top band in the world right now. He’s been doing the rock star/touring thing for the last decade and he’s getting tired of it all. When his only family, his beloved sister dies giving birth to his niece, he rushes home to Nashville to take care of things. After the baby gets out of intensive care – she was born prematurely – he has another few months to get things figured out before contractual obligations force him back on the road. When he’s at his lowest point, despairing ever being enough to raise a child, missing his sister, hating his choices in life, he meets Erik. Though he doesn’t know it at the time, Erik is a pediatrician, and ends up giving him life saving advice. As they begin their relationship, Erik is guarded from being cheated on by a past lover and thinks Tag is as straight as the media portrays him, they begin to sort through what is real and what isn’t. Though there are plenty of obstacles between them and happiness, they eventually realize that they want that happiness together. ** This was an absolutely breath taking story. I loved it! I have a soft spot for rockers – forget movie stars, models, business tycoons – my hot spot lies with the musician. So Tag hit all my buttons. He’s hot, poetic, talented, lives life hard but has a warm and gooey center. Erik is more reserved and shuttered, but he has enough strength in him to be the rock that Tag needs. There are some OTT moments in the book that make it less than perfect - the crazy best friends in both their lives act in ways that push the envelope of credibility – but Tag’s ability to drop out of the band was really a matter of the right time and motivation. He was exhausted and having a daughter and family only provided the impetus he needed to do what he’d been thinking about. I found that to ring true. Erik’s willingness to care for the baby almost sight unseen was a little unbelievable – but again – the heart wants what it wants – and in that time and place it made sense. So – with a little nod to the suspending of disbelief fairies – I think this was somewhat plausible and entirely ooey gooey to watch unfold. The smexy times were hot, the feels were abundant and the HEA was spectacular. I highly recommend this and am looking forward to seeing how in the world the author will redeem the evil best friend in book two! 4.5 of 5 stars

Oy vey, save me from the smarmy, cutesy horse shit and the melodramatic angst. Unnecessary misunderstandings and a main character who's willing to forgive anyone absolutely anything except for the guy he's falling in love with. Crazy friend who seems obsessed and can't grasp that you're gay? It's okay, she's still a friend and deserves some patience and understanding. First sign of trouble from a guy who's been nothing but honest and kind to me? I mean romance book.

Sexy rocker meets kind-hearted doctor – YES PLEASE! Deliver Me is one of those books I fell in love with from the very beginning and honestly loved until the last word! There was such a great combination of characters and story line in this book, I absolutely couldn’t put it down. Tag is the super-hot lead singer of the band 7’s Mistress, the rock band on top of the world. He has money and fame and a great band but he’s really not all that happy. When tragedy strikes and his life changes he is struggling to figure it all out. He meets Erik by chance but that change is also going to change his life, again. Erik is a kind-hearted doctor, running his own practice and volunteering in his free time. He’s also a man with a broken heart, determined not to ever let himself be hurt again. He meets Tag, who he knows as Lee and feels the connection between the two, but can he allow the man near his heart. Oh, what an amazing journey it was for these two men! Lee wants a change, but he isn’t sure what that means, but once Delilah and Erik become a part of his life he knows exactly what he wants. Erik isn’t so sure, he knows there is something special happening but he’s also desperately trying to save himself from another broken heart. One of the things I loved most about this book was the natural feel of this book. I felt so much of what both of these men were experiencing, both the good and the bad and it just made my heart swell! It certainly wasn’t easy for Lee and Erik, navigating the path to love and happiness, but what a remarkable story these two have! There was definitely smoking-hot moments – these two have some serious chemistry, but there were also tender moments and some twisty scary ones too! Overall, I really loved this book! Once I started I couldn’t put it down and didn’t want it to end! There is also a great supporting cast that comes with these two that makes the book that much better! I really fell in love with these characters and they definitely have a place in my heart! I can truly say that I can’t wait for more from Faith Gibson! *I received an advanced copy to review for The Geekery Book Review.

Deliver me is Author Faith Gibson's first story in the M/M Genre and I will say that she did an amazing job on portraying her characters, I really loved this story and highly recommend it. Dr. Eric Henrikson is a very well known Pediatrician, loving his job but we soon see he's missing the one thing that will complete his life "True Love". Tag is faced with a tragedy leaving him with soul custody of his niece Delilah, not knowing what to do with his new position as a daddy he is out one day at the park and as fate would have it he meets up with Eric who is able to help calm Delilah down. As fate would have it Tag ends up at the pedestrians office and well yes you guessed it Eric is the one who cares for Delilah. From here on in we get to witness such an emotional journey between these two the chemistry is off the charts hot but more so the emotions and the learning how to trust each other is such a beautiful experience watching and how these two become a family and parents to this beautiful little girl who is a gift and such an important part of this story. There is some angst in this story and a few hurdles and twists and turns to get through when an ex and best friend try to step in and their jealousy will have you at the edge of your seats but Faith was brilliant in her writing and definitely did not disappoint. If you are a fan of the MM genre which I strongly am I highly recommend this book.
