My Review: Start with a surprise pregnancy and add in a troubled and sticky-fingered relative, a sexy yet traumatized and apprehensive baby-daddy, a crafty grandmother, a playful rescued puppy, and a missing recipe needed for a competition and coffee shop owner Kaitlyn’s cup is overflowing, and she can’t even drink the coffee. I have enjoyed every installment of the Angel Falls series, and adore the Langdon’s tight-knit and loving family. The characters are responsible, thoughtful, and likable human beings who are realistically flawed and a bit frayed around the edges yet hard-working, kind, and lovable. Kaitlyn and Rafe’s storylines were well-balanced overall as they swung between angsty inner turmoil and a tender sweet and steamy romance. Ms. Liasson’s writing style is easy to fall into and follow, yet is craftily paced with expert storytelling and emotive word choices that hit and hold the perfect emotional tones between well-placed bursts of levity and a gentle and caring romance that squeezes all the feels.

The perfect addition to the Angel Falls series! I was in the mood for a Christmas romance and All I Want for Christmas had the perfect ingredients. But when a night together has a permanent outcome, Kaitlyn and Rafe will have to decide what's best for them. I was intrigued by Kaitlyn and Rafe. They had great chemistry and their story began in a prior book. I knew this was coming and I was super excited to read their book. Kaitlyn was independent and smart. She knew she might not be able to count on Rafe and she was prepared to do what was right for her. She also started helping her niece, who by all means needed her help. It was nice to see how they were able to develop a much better relationship. Rafe had to learn loss at a younger age. I couldn't blame him for not wanting to experience this type of pain again. It was funny to me to see how he was already too late. He loved Kaitlyn way before they shared that night together. Miranda Liasson did a great job. The characters were likable and lovable. I love how Nonna sped up a situation, I love that we get a puppy added to the equation and having the rest of the Langdon family around only made this book more memorable. The Angel Falls series is becoming one of my favorite small-town romances. I hope this is not the last one. Miranda didn’t disappoint. All I Want for Christmas is You was the perfect mix of Christmas, family, a budding relationship and the chemistry that simmers constantly between our H/h as their connection grows. "I’m not sure I can be who you need me to be… But I want to try. You make me want to try…" Unplanned pregnancy is always going to be one of my favourite tropes and Miranda played this one out perfectly with a couple that are neither prepared, together or in any way, shape, or emotional form, ready to take on the responsibility of raising a child together. A little face-planting action from Nonna brings about a fake engagement, and some rogue asbestos, brings about a change in living conditions and voila! Our couple are living together and trying to keep their clothes on! Everything between them felt different… it was better… but in a way she couldn’t quite put her finger on… Rafe has been the happy-go-lucky charmer of the previous books so getting a deeper look into him and his past added a great emotional depth to this story, and Kaitlyn was the perfect match for him in that she didn’t give up her independence in order to be with him. "Love changes things… But you’ve got to make yourself vulnerable enough to let it in…" Add in a cute puppy, plenty of interaction from the rest of the Langdon clan and the town of Angel Falls in general and this was a Christmas winner for me! "Yours and mine…" ARC generously provided by the author via Netgalley, in exchange for the above honest review.

I'm hoping that if we do leave Angel Falls we find someplace that's equally nice to visit. One of the things I've loved about this series is the great covers. Each other is better than the last. I loved this one and can honestly say that if I had never read Liasson before this cover would have drawn me in. Up this time we have Kaitlyn and Rafe. These two have been friends for what seems like forever. That's what happens when you live in a small town and your sisters bring friends around. I really loved their friendship. It was comfortable and easy. Or at least it was until someone ended up pregnant. Like you don't know who that someone is. Only of them have to parts to carry a baby so this is pretty easy to figure out. I like how both of them are torn on what to do and how to handle everything. But when Rafe's nonna falls ill they decide that they are getting married. Silly Rafe and Kaitlyn. I think they are the only two who don't see that they are truly in love. I get Rafe's issues and why he feels he needs to stay alone. You'll get it too when you read this story. But come on...really!!! Their relationship might have been rocky as hell but you still saw how much they loved each other and didn't want to see the other hurt. I just kept waiting for Rafe to get a clue. The man had a wall up so thick you could knock on it and hear nothing. I also enjoyed how Kaitlyn worked on her relationship with her niece. It wasn't easy at times and the girl had so issues but over time she, along with the town was able to help her understand her worth. During the book, Kaitlyn is looking for a recipe of her grandfathers so it's talked about a lot. I haven't yet tried it but plan on doing so soon. I love when books talk about food/cookie/drink and then give you the recipe. I will mention that All I Want for Christmas is You (do you also hear music when you say the title?) but for me, it reads better after you've read the other two books in the Angel Falls series. It flows better. Follow me on: https://www.facebook.com/RomancingThe... https://twitter.com/Romancingreader ARC received for an honest review

I am loving all of these Christmas reads. I know it's only October, but I am addicted to everything Christmas so I could read these all year round. I saw this cover and was captivated by that cute puppy. So, I had to dive into this one right away. All I Want for Christmas Is You is the Christmas romance you need to read this year. It is such a great read. I loved how the book started off. It introduced us to the characters, Kaitlyn and Rafe and already you could tell that these two had history. They have been friends forever and only recently realized that there may be real feelings involved. Miranda Liasson wrote a captivating friends to lovers romance that had so much heart. Seeing all that Kaitlyn and Rafe have been through and seeing how they blossomed as a couple and individuals is beautiful. There were so many great things about this book like the baking, meeting Rafe's family, and all the puppy love. I don't want to give too much away, but I promise you that it will be one of your favorite holiday romances. I give All I Want for Christmas Is You 5 stars. Miranda Liasson transports readers to the town of Angel Falls. It's magical, filled with family traditions, and all about love.

Writing this review is a bit hard, because with All I Want for Christmas is You, author Miranda Liasson is bringing an end to the delightful Angel Falls series. At their friends wedding weeks before, Kaitlyn Barnes became pregnant with Rafe Langdon's baby. Best friends for years, Kaitlyn has no idea how to deliver the news to Rafe. As much as Kaitlyn loves and respects Rafe, she knows that he is not willing to settle down, now or ever. Yet, this is a secret that she cannot keep for long. As much as Kaitlyn loves and respects Rafe, she knows that he is not willing to settle down, now or ever. Yet, this is a secret that she cannot keep for long. Not from Rafe, and not from her friends. Meanwhile, Rafe cannot stop thinking of that night. Despite his protests of being far too drunk to remember, there is not one second he forgot. However, Rafe suffered a tragic loss years before and absolutely refuses to give more than a moment's thought to accept that he has strong feelings for Kaitlyn. When he does hear the news, he is determined to do the right thing. The question is whether or not the hole in his heart is too big to be mended. I love the Angel Falls series, and appreciate the conflict and love how it was resolved. The story had a wonderful conclusion as did the series. I have already reviewed the previous two stories in the series and the links are below. Many thanks to Forever for this ARC for review in exchange for my honest opinion.

Now when Kaitlyn news to tell him and his family after the announcement his Nonna wants them to get married and so they become engaged. The thing that no one knows is that it is fake. As much as Rafe wants to he just can’t get over his past, so Kaitlyn leaves and moves back to her apartment. Now she is working towards the bake-off, her niece is doing better and for Rafe, she can only have dreams of what it could have been. Read this wonderful story to see how it ends and about her cookie recipe contest. A very good story with really good characters from the other books really likes Nonna. Laughter may be the best medicine, but a few teardrops are good for cleansing the soul. Liasson basks in the sunshine while sprinkling in some rain. All I Want For Christmas is You presents the best of both worlds. Rafe and Kaitlyn take on the what ifs moments with a pure dash of heart and a handful of pain. Will heartache lead to a second chance or will pride spell the end for two battered hearts? Emotion takes on humor with a spellbinding kind of irresistible.

I cannot wait to add this paperback to my collection because all three of these books have had the perfect covers for the stories and this one is my favorite. I have loved this series so much, and this book was no exception – this was the perfect ending to this arm of the series. (Yeah, I'm holding out hope that we don't leave this town yet, don't judge me.) Rafe and Kaitlyn's story was deeper and more emotional than I'd thought it would be, to be honest, but I should have known better with Ms. Liasson. Both of them had tremendous loss and trust issues due to their pasts that broke my heart as we read and learned more about them, but Rafe's was especially difficult. His innermost thoughts and fears about his past (no spoilers) made me want to hug him so hard. Watching him overcome those was really heart-breaking but also so beautiful. As always, the side characters in this story were amazing. I loved the updates on the characters from the previous books, but my favorite non-Nonna side character was, without question, Rachel. Oh my gosh, I absolutely adore Rachel and her relationship with the Langdon kids, but I especially loved seeing her connect with Rafe. So often step-parents are portrayed as evil and horrible, but Miranda Liasson has created a beautiful relationship between Rachel and all of the Langdon kids, but her talk with Rafe was especially gorgeous. I loved it. And yeah, I cried during their talk. Because Ms. Liasson just isn't happy unless she makes me cry at least once when I'm reading her books. Hazel also turned out to be quite an awesome addition to this story and the family, which surprised me, to be totally honest.Hopefully Nikki comes to Angel Falls and we get a side story in town because I don't want to leave this magical place! Without spoiling anything, I also loved the baby's name. It was so beautiful. And of course, Nonna and her shenanigans made me fall so in love with her. She was hilarious and sweet and absolutely perfect. I'm not going to spoil anything but I need to say Thank You to Ms. Liasson for the gift of Nonna. I would highly recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a well-written, character driven story. Ms. Liasson is the queen of beautifully written, feel-good, emotional love stories. If you're new to her books, start at the beginning of this story – you will not be disappointed.

Kaitlyn and Rafe has been friends for years. They always felt an attraction but each had a reason to not act on it. Kaitlyn is an independent woman who always did everything by herself and doesn't know how to ask for help. Rafe lost many people he loved when he was young so his fear of losing someone dear again made him unable to commit to a relationship. But one evening, after a few drinks, Kaitlyn and Rafe gave in to the temptation and ever since that night, it's been awkward between them. But Kaitlyn and Rafe has been friends for years. Long time friends Kaitlyn and Rafe had a one night thing that's not only made their friendship awkward but also surprised them both with Kaitlyn being pregnant. If that didn't make things awkward enough they've just announced a fake engagement to family and friends. This is a cute Christmas novel. If you like Lifetime Christmas movies, this book is for you. I liked that a romance-y Christmas novel dealt with some realistic modern problems like pregnancy and prior losses and not just some contrived misunderstandings. I hadn't read any of the previous books in this series so it was kind of hard to keep track all of the pregnant sisters and their various spouses and kids. I would have liked a little more focus on that relationship. Kate spends way more time working on that cookie recipe than she does with her niece. If she hadn't made Hazel work at the diner, she'd never see the poor girl. *I received an advance copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher and I am required to disclose that in my review in compliance with federal law.*

I want a family like those in Angel Falls. Rafe and Kaitlyn have known each other forever. They have been best of friends for a few years. Both are denying that they are anything other than friends. After an interlude at a wedding a few months ago, their relationship is strained. And now Kaitlyn is pregnant. The story is one of my favorite themes of friends to lovers and it was done perfectly. Rafe and Kaitlyn are in love though neither of them will admit it. Everyone else sees it though. Both have reasons to want to avoid a relationship, but the pregnancy changes everything. The book made me laugh and cry. It had the right amount of humor, sweetness and emotion. I fell in love with all of the characaters. It's a great Christmas story! I look forward to more Angel Falls stories! I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was the best friends to lovers, surprise pregnancy romance that I've read in a long time. I love the family aspect of this story. Everyone was so close and so cheerful, it was hard not to fall in love with Langdon family, even when Nona is manipulative and calculating...with the best intentions, of course. There was a bit of back and forth from Rafe that could've gotten really annoying if the author hadn't done a great job of showing (not just telling) how his history has affected his This was the best friends to lovers, surprise pregnancy romance that I've read in a long time. It was obvious from very early on that he and Kaitlyn felt more for each other than the love between friends but their journey to acknowledge those feelings was paced perfectly and I thoroughly enjoyed the journey!! I'm sad to see this series come to an end but what a great way to finish!! *I received an ARC from NetGalley for honest review

I truly am grateful to the author for providing me with the opportunity to review an ARC of this book. That said, however, this storyline is my least favorite type of romance - baby romance - so anyone reading this review can take it with a grain of salt. I did find the pace of the book a bit slow and had difficulty connecting to the characters as well. Rafe was either totally closed down or gushing emotions like a girl - I got worn down with his numerous back-and-forths. To be honest - I don't normally read this type of book. BUT I must say I truly truly enjoyed " All I want for Christmas is you " I love Kaitlyn and Rafe! It was actually nice to sit on a rainy day and enjoy a sweet, heart warming story! Miranda appears to write with her heart. I hope we get to see Rafe return....I highly recommend this book - it will make you laugh, maybe cry a bit , tug at your heart ... But once you start it , you may not be able to put it down.. ARC from Netgalley There’s no doubt in my mind that fans of the Angel Falls series have been clamoring for Rafe and Kaitlyn’s story - myself included. I fell for them from the beginning, and thank God Miranda Liasson gave us their story with All I Want for Christmas Is You! This is the third book in the series, and yes. You could read it out of order and be just fine; that’s how I read it. I fell for them from the beginning, and thank God Miranda Liasson gave us their story with All I Want for Christmas Is You! This is the third book in the series, and yes. You could read it out of order and be just fine; that’s how I read it. But I will say that Kaitlyn and Rafe’s flirtation in the previous books was so wonderful, and I think reading them in order will give the reader a much sweeter payoff. Having lost his first love in an accident years ago, Rafe Landgon is no stranger to tragedy. It’s taught him to distance himself from people, and to shut his heart off to finding love. His one exception is his family, who he absolutely adores. Rafe was such a wonderful man. The adoration he showed his family was mutual; he was so sweet to his sisters, a doting uncle who loved being around his nieces and nephew, and a hero with his work as a firefighter. There was a particular scene with his step-mother in this book that showcased how loving Rafe was, and it was enough to tug at the heartstrings. He is just such a loving man, and to see him hold himself back from that was heart wrenching. Kaitlyn has been friends with Rafe’s sisters for as long as she can remember, and she’s had a crush on Rafe for almost as long. While her family may have been smaller, it was no less loving. But the lesson she inadvertently learned from her mother wouldn’t allow her to ask for help or even allow it when it was offered. So when Rafe and Kaitlyn get carried away one night and it results in an unplanned pregnancy, she’s adamant that she can do this by herself if she has to. This is where Kaitlyn’s hard-nose for independence comes through. This man, who she has known her entire life, who has always been there for his family, and for her - she can’t help but continuously give him an out. Which, of course, Rafe never takes. It was getting frustrating for me, and I had to keep reminding myself that Kaitlyn wasn’t privy to Rafe’s thoughts like I was. I also had to remind myself that it was an inherent part of her character based on things that happened in her life, and her character arc really was wonderfully written. There was a lot of push and pull in this book, which was fitting based on Rafe and Kaitlyn’s pasts, and it killed me. They were so in love but just could not get on the same page at the same time. And when they finally do - man. It’s that amazing payoff that I was talking about earlier! The way Rafe just didn't want to let Kaitlyn go but found it so impossible to open up was devastating to me. I was so rooting for them to find their happily ever after! We finally get to meet Kaitlyn’s mother here and her troubled niece who has come to stay with him, and I really enjoyed this part of the story as well. That Kaitlyn’s mother recognized her inability to accept help before she did really spoke to how well she knew her daughter, and I like that Kaitlyn saw pieces of herself in her niece. There was also a stray puppy in this book that (mild spoiler) Rafe wouldn’t allow himself to connect with despite his adoration for the pup, and it was a brilliant way for the author to showcase just how much he’d shut himself down. Oh, and my favorite part of this story was Rafe calling Kaitlyn ‘Katie.’ He was the only one who did, and every time he did, it melted my heart. That he was in love with her pretty much from the beginning of this book was so evident to everyone but them. Obviously we get to see a lot of Rafe’s family in this book, as they have collectively played a large part in each installment of the series. I do wish that there had been just a bit more focus on Rafe’s past relationship since it played such a prominent part in who he was today, and based on his past, it was fairly predictable to see what the main conflict was going to be between him and Kaitlyn, but that didn’t make All I Want for Christmas Is You any less enjoyable for me. Overall, I have found the Angel Falls series to be so poignant and delightful. Highlights for me have been seeing the Langdon kids still dealing with the loss of their mother even all these years later as adults; it just felt so real. Also, the way they are with their Nonna was so precious; this author has created a beautiful family that I think anyone would love to be a part of. I am very sad to see this family go, but the epilogue in this one left me feeling happy for them. If you love small town romance and close knit families, I can’t recommend this series enough. I know I’ll be returning to Angel Falls many times over with re-reads!

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Every since then he has tried to wall his heart off but Kaitlyn always finds way I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. Rafe was engaged young and lost his fiancee and though not a lot of people know, she was pregnant. Every since then he has tried to wall his heart off but Kaitlyn always finds way to sneak past his guard. When a baby and a fake engagement force him into opening up to her more, he begins to realize that maybe loving again is worth the risk. And oh, she felt the current between them, strong as always, brought on by camaraderie and banter, but sustained by pure, unholy chemistry. Third in the Angel Falls series, readers have been waiting for Rafe and Kaitlyn to finally get together. In the previous book, we saw them hook-up and All I Want For Christmas Is You starts off with Kaitlyn realizing she is pregnant from that encounter. Previous characters from the first two books in the series make appearances here but mostly stay to the side as Kaitlyn and Rafe work out their issues. Kaitlyn's troubled niece adds some extra stress to Kaitlyn's storyline and I only really liked her addition as a maybe see these character in a future book with her good-looking and nice kid math tutor. Kaitlyn was like sunshine, offering warmth and sweetness and… hope. The scary part was that she made him wonder, what would it be like to dare to step into that light? Rafe's issues with opening up to Kaitlyn were understandable but as I didn't get any flashback scenes with him and his previous fiancee and it was so many years ago, I never felt emotionally connected to his heartbreak. This made his reluctance and dragging feet to accept he liked and loved Kaitlyn feel kind of prolonged towards the middle and end. The whole plot of his grandmother faking a heart-attack and their fake engagement felt like going through the motions of a trope, not many funny moments or tension emotions taken out of it. Kaitlyn and Rafe do have sweet and cute moments together but the vast majority of emotional energy from the two is Kaitlyn thinking how Rafe is acting toward and what he is doing for her is from a sense of obligation for the baby and Rafe stays in his past hurts purgatory for so long, the pace and tone of the story isn't very upbeat. “Someone should make you feel special every single day.” I felt like I got to know Kaityln more as a character and the heap of stresses she had on her plate, unplanned pregnancy, troubled niece, and trying to win a cookie recipe contest to help her bakery out had me feeling for her. I would have liked a couple more scenes with her and her friends to see her communicate and have her personality flourish in that way. Rafe didn't shine as brightly for me, he's a fireman but we almost never see him in that capacity or get a feel for him in that way and he has a certain cloud of moping around him. Like I said, these two did have some sweet moments together but I would have liked to have seen more of a definitive growing and marked decision to choose one another; the surprise pregnancy kind of made the decision for Rafe. The ending added some extra angst that I wasn't sure fit the previous cozy, low-key tone of the story (obligatory firefighter in danger angst) and again helped make the decision for our couple to come together instead of showing a more emotional journey to get there. Except for holiday baking and some family get togethers, the holiday feel could have been stronger and since I'm a big dog lover, I could have stood for more cute puppy scenes. This had some checklist tropes and additives that didn't quite end up jumping out at me but this also had some quiet sweetness.

She knows a terrible loss in Rafe's past keeps him from forming lasting relationships, so she knows her crush goes no further than where it currently sits. That is, until spending time together at a wedding results in them spending the night together, which then results in Kaitlyn finding out she's pregnant. Finding out about the baby throws Rafe back to when he lost everything once before. He's determined not to lose again, but how can he be everything Kaitlyn and the baby need if he's still broken inside? One thing is for certain: their lives are both irrevocably changed as their once close friendship shifts to something more. Anyone who has been reading this series knows that the Rafe and Kaitlyn relationship has been building up in the background since the beginning. It's these relationships, and eventual books, that I love the most because of all the anticipation. Sometimes that anticipation works in the book's favor and sometimes not as expectations aren't met. I'd say All I Want for Christmas is You falls somewhere in the middle. I don't really know what I was expecting, but I ultimately felt like the book didn't necessarily head in the direction I thought it would. I think that Miranda Liasson really plays well with the idea of people's lives and their relationships changing at the drop of a hat. There's a definitely divide between the Rafe and Kaitlyn we saw in the first two books, to the Rafe and Kaitlyn we see here. It's all understandable because for one they altered their platonic relationship into something very not platonic, and of course, there's going to be a baby. I guess for me, I missed the way they interacted in the first two books, but as I said the transition from where they were then to where they're going is deftly felt and, honestly, a very true to life feeling. Things can't go back to the way they were. There's no way. Their relationship has changed and what we, as readers, now experience in this book is seeing if Kaitlyn and Rafe can change with that or if they drift apart. It's a little bittersweet, I think, mourning what is lost, but this is also in line with Rafe still mourning his fiancee whom died years ago. Rafe still sees himself as that young man who lost his path, basically lost the future he planned for. Kaitlyn's pregnancy brings up this loss, but it is intrinsically linked to Rafe's present. So it's new and different, but still somewhat mirrors his past. All I Want for Christmas really highlights the changes, the transitions that life takes whether they're natural or unexpected, and then shows us what we do with that those changes. It's the first really full Christmas story I've read this year (with not just hints of the holiday but taking place during the holidays) and it really fits with the whole rebirth and new years vibe that this time of year brings. I'd say you can read this without having read the other books in the series, but I always think it's more beneficial to know where a story and its characters are coming from.
