Fab set of shorts from the fake boyfriend world I'd read one of these already but getting the other two stories in this collection was a delight. I loved the expanded romance for Luce and Marty and the background to the relationship we already know about from Jet and Soren's book. Also Ash and Max's romance made me all heart happy.

Rebound – 4 stars This was my third time reading this story, and it's my favourite in this collection. I really like Aron and Wyatt together. I know Wyatt wouldn't like me saying this, but he is so adorable. I only wish the story was longer and there was more of their relationship. It's Complicated – 4 stars For the most part I enjoyed this. Ash and Max are lovely together, I kind of wish they got together a lot sooner. Not sure what to think about this story. On the one hand, it is well written, fun and has some lovely moments. On the other hand, it's too insta everything and too unrealistic. But what bothered me the most was how Jet was presented here. It's like he's not the same character from previous books and I wasn't happy with his situation in this one at all. Maybe I'm just too biased, he is one of my favourite characters in this series and I want only the best for him.

3.5 stars overall!! Loved these shorts..Was good to see these supporting characters find their very own HEA.. Rebound – 4 stars!! Loved Aron and Wyatt and how they started seeing each other as more than "just friends". It seemed very realistic on how friends can be afraid of starting something together when they are afraid of the repercussions of a break-up.. but Aron proved to be pretty amazing, their chemistry was off the charts and the wit and humor between them was simply perfect. . Nevertheless, Max and Ash were indeed very sweet characters... in-love since childhood but in denial for a very long time. And even when they do find out about their long-held feelings for each other, Ash's past relationship with Ollie (Max's brother) brings both awkwardness and weirdness into the scenario😬. The welcoming support from the family, the passion between the two and the fact that Max and Ash with Ollie and Lennon find the humor in their awkward situation felt relatable somehow and made up for the plot issues. It ends making you feel that Max and Ash's HEA was a long time coming. 💞😍 Winning You – 3 stars! 😳 The story was just ok for me.. I didn't really connect with Marty or Luce and felt that their whole relationship was too quick and became serious too soon. The whole inserting of Jet's band into the story seemed contrived. (view spoiler)[ It seems highly unlikely that someone like Marty who was a child prodigy would leave his PhD program to follow a B-grade band and work as their assistant to have a relationship with Luce (hide spoiler)] How long can such a relationship survive? It was just hard to imagine what Luce and Marty had in common besides physical chemistry..🤔 It was however, well-written with lots of insights into Jet/Jay's life as the lead in his rock band. I'm now even more curious to read his story😳😍

The two have been best friends since the age of 5. Ash has always thought Max, his "straight" best friend, was off limits even though, he has been in love with him since he was 11, he has accepted them to just be friends forever. However, he catches Max his not so straight best friend with another man and his world is turned upside down. Turns out Max has been in love with Ash since college. However, life and timing has always gone wrong for them to be together. Now that they have a chance the whole Ollie situation may stop them from ever being. They have to get past that hurdle before becoming a couple. Overall, a decent read. Makes it more understandable why Max was always so protective if Ash. Winning You (Fake Boyfriend 4.5) 2.5 stars This takes place before book 5 and involves Luce and Marty. If you read book 5 you know Luce is Radioactive's manager. This story tells you how he became the manager and how a raffle won him the date of a lifetime.

I liked Jordan who was a secondary character and hope he gets his own book in the future. 3. Winning You - Marty and Luca win tickets for a blind date at a festival. They are complete opposites. Marty is a sassy geek and Luca is older and feeling a bit jaded. Once they come together sparks fly and feelings start to develop and their lives change in the personal and working life. I love novellas as sometimes it gives us a chance to read the secondary characters stories. I received a ARC for an objective review

Already read Fake Boyfriend #2.5 and reviewed it awhile back. 4.5 stars for Fake Boyfriend #3.5 I really enjoyed this one. It focuses on Ash, who is Ollie's - from Book 3 - ex-boyfriend and Max, Ollie's brother and best friend to Ash. I think this book did a solid job of giving Ash and Max's background and setting up their love to be believable in such a short amount of time. I liked reading Ash and Max navigating the waters of dealing with Ollie and finally starting a relationship and dealing with all that. Overall a very good story, and I enjoyed these two together and I felt the chemistry between them - although I wish the sex had been written a little better with a little more passion. It was over too quickly in my opinion. Overall though, good story. 4 stars for Fake Boyfriend #4.5 Overall this was a good story. I'm not sure how it's a prequel to the next book and where it exactly fits in in this series, but guess we'll see? Anyway, Marty is a smart, young looking nerdy guy currently getting his phd and puts his name in a Heart2Heart charity raffle to try to get tickets to see his favorite band, Radioactive, but it comes with a blind date with Luce, an older guy who gives as good as he gets. They hit it off practically right away. Although Luce turns out to be a middle man at a big record label and he set up and put together the festival they go to. He has his own reasons for being in the raffle to get to go to the festival. I liked Marty and Luce's chemistry, and I enjoyed their scenes together. They were cute. I did feel this dragged out a little longer than it needed to - saying something considering it's already fairly short, but it wasn't as short as I was expecting and just when I thought it would be done soon, it wasn't. It just got to be a bit much, even though I ultimately ended up enjoying the whole story - although even though it's longer, it kind of skips over the bulk of Marty and Luce's relationship. It shows the very beginning, but it skips over them being together longer, which I would have liked to have seen if it was gonna be as long as it was. Overall though, a good fun story to round out these short stories. I can't wait for the 5th installment of this series and Jet's love story. I would recommend these short stories, for sure, for anyone who has enjoyed this series. Overall they're great add ons. Two thumbs up for these stories.

Music, a band, a crush for a member, good management, a tour, and taking a claim. Enough of everything to make this a at times heartbreaking and heartwarming story, with humor, sexiness and love. I thing... I hate separation ! So you know :) It was engagingly written, with diverse personalities and great environments.

This is a collection of three short stories and I’m glad it exists because I’ve been waiting for the next book in this series for way too long and it’s still more than a month and a half away. Aron and Wyatt’s story is something I had already read before but I didn’t mind getting a refresher. But I was never a fan of either of the characters due to the way they treated Noah in book 2, so I was okay with this story but didn’t feel attached to it much. But I was never a fan of either of the characters due to the way they treated Noah in book 2, so I was okay with this story but didn’t feel attached to it much. It’s finally good to see Ash and Max together because it was really obvious in Deke. Their story was definitely very emotional and made me weep, but the Stromberg family was always on hand with their inappropriate jokes to lighten up the mood. However, I was mostly just very happy to get another glimpse of Ollie and Lennon because I really love them so much. Marty and Luce’s story was interesting, very sweet and adorable with a bit of angst and I really enjoyed it. It actually took me a while to realize that the lead singer Jay of band Radioactive is actually Jet and then I couldn’t believe that I didn’t recognize the smartass. However, it only makes the wait for Hat Trick more excruciating and I just want his book in my hands already 😭😭 While this was a lovely collection of stories, it just made me miss all my favorite characters from the series and am now eagerly waiting for Hat Trick as well as the short stories that Eden has promised for all the couples 😍😍

***Now Available!!!*** Oh how I’ve missed the Fake Boyfriend universe! This book contains three yummy novellas from that world. I guess technically you could read them without reading the rest of the series, but I don’t recommend it. None of these stories have a fake boyfriend trope but the characters are tied in with the guys in the main books. All the feels and swoons for Max and Ash! 😍 Book Three: Marty and Luce’s story was released previously in the Heart2Heart anthology. I didn’t get a chance to read it then. Winning a pair of tickets to a concert puts them on a date together that neither is very interested in. (A date to a concert with a certain someone featured in the next Fake Boyfriend book perhaps? 😉) Naturally, sparks fly. Big thumbs up for Marty and Luce. (Don’t call him Lucifer!)

It's Complicated: 3.25 stars I don't know about this one. I had high expectations for it but even though the 2 MCs claimed to have been in love with each other for many years, I just didn't really feel the connection. It could have been the fact that it was a short story because Eden Finley rarely disappoints. Winning You: 3.75 stars Well, I am glad I read this story because it was an expanded version of the original from the Heart2heart Charity Anthology. Funny thing about this one was that I felt that there was more of a connection/spark between Marty and Luce from this story than the guys from It's Complicated. However, I wouldn't think their relationship would be sustainable IRL because Marty worked so hard to get his PhD no matter how in love they are. I could be wrong though. Jay, who is Jet the MC from the newest book Hat Trick, is a little bit of a turd here but I don't know anything else about his personality yet since I haven't read his book yet.

It just irritated at me while reading. • First in Deke I couldn’t stand Ash, this book made me loathe him. I found him selfish & self centered. He became engaged to someone basically for convenience and although the other guy was and asshole - so was Ash. All of Ollie’s family felt really badly I the prior book and apologized to him for their for not being understanding of his life, all except him. I just felt like he’s all about him. Even with Max. • I didn’t want to read about Ollie’s current feelings for Ash while he is with Lennon, yes they were together for some time I just don’t want to read it. • I did like Max, but felt the whole plot line was thin, if he felt that strongly he should have done something before STORY 4.5 - 4 SATRS Marty & Luce - this one was cute and had Jet in it so yea!!! Although I am not a huge insta-love fan this one worked for me. I just wanted more Jet now.

3.5 3 Stories and I liked them exactly in that ascending order. Rebound was okay and I enjoyed It's Complicated - although I couldn't really understand the complication. Then there was Winning You and I remembered why I love reading Eden Finley. There's the snark, sass and affection combination I can't get enough of. Luckily that one's also a prequel for the next book ... can't get out soon enough.

The first story was kind of boring, which is the main reason for the low rating. The second story 'It's Complicated' lived up to its name sake. It was an absolute mess, but the sweetest mess I ever read. Also makes me want to reread 'Deke'. The third story about Marty and Luce was totally my favorite. Like a fairy tale romance but with rockstars instead of pumpkins and a lot more butt sex. The first story was kind of boring, which is the main reason for the low rating. It's Complicated and Winning You don't have a separate thing that I saw, so that's why there's not something below for them. If you read the blurb, you will see where all these fit in. How all the relationships got started and what happened to get them where they are. It's a good set of stories. I loved the whole series. And these little snippet stories help fill in some blanks about things.  With It's Complicated, it's the start of Max and Ash and what happened before they became them. And it's a doozy. I've read all these stories but some of it I'm trying to remember. For Ash, he's always been in love with Max. But with Max being straight, he figured there was no hope. But who he moves on to is the kicker. Max's brother, Ollie. For four years Ollie and Ash were together, but Ollie chose the career over Ash and it was a heartbreak. And he's in another relationship where he's realized it's happening again. The guy just wants a marriage, it didn't matter who. And Ash is supposed to feel honored because he was chosen. pfft. But during all this, Max has been lusting for Ash and trying to hide it. But after all that's been going on, Max has finally been pushed to the point where he has to speak up. Only it throws everything badly. No one is talking really to anyone. Ollie is ticked, despite being with a man he's found as his one. And it's just a huge mess. And now Max has to do what he has to do to fix it all. Unrequited love. Being in love with a straight guy. Always a disaster in the making. It's not something that you can just get over. This mess between Max and Ash is just insane. It's been a mess since college. If they had just talked to begin with, they could have saved everyone a lot of heartache and anguish. But of course, life is never that easy lol.  But getting past everything isn't easy either. And Ollie is being as ass about it, which isn't helping. I don't know. I can't remember the correct saying, but the one that comes close is don't poo where you eat, kind of thing. Just dating everyone in their friend pool and stuff has been a mess for all these guys and yet they haven't learned yet. Or in the family pool. Either way. I'm glad they find their happy finally after all these years. But like I said, communication would have solved things so much better if they would have just done it. And the last one, Winning You, is Luce and Marty's story. Luce, is Radioactive's new manager, if you've read into that story. It's Jet and Soren's story. Or right before it. It's how everything started with Luce and Marty and how Luce ended up taking over as management and being the best thing for the band. It didn't come without complications for Luce and Marty, but they learn to make it work. At first, when things start to change, they wondered if it was going to at all. But after being together and pretty much falling in love, they don't want to be apart. But they have to figure out how to make it work. But that's the key thing, they have to learn to compromise, communicate, and realize what's important in life. And if they can figure it out, things will start to fall in to place. It's funny that Luce won a date with Marty. Marty wanted a date to get to Jay/Jet from Radioactive. A band Luce didn't even really know of. And he's with the label. Kind of ironic, I'd say. But what makes things funnier, is that because of Marty, Luce finds himself in a situation where things are changing and for the better. He sometimes felt at the beginning that he was being used to a point because of how into Jay/Jet, Marty was, but when he realizes how much Marty is beginning to mean to him and hopefully how Marty feels about him, it becomes easier. I It's been really cool to be able to read these in betweens. If you read the stories without reading these, things will still be there and all will make sense, of course. But reading these, it adds more info. It adds a bit more heartbreak as well, but it adds more to the actual stories because you can now see how things are working out with everyone and how it all came to be. Because for a bit there, it was awkward for EVERYONE! I loved getting to see the starts and finishes, and how it all came to be. It's been a good set of stories. I loved it. http://lovebytesreviews.com/

But for the purpose of this review, we're mainly concerned with the second book since Aron's story is connected to Noah's. They had a friends-with-benefits relationship that went wrong. Aron developed feelings, Noah did not. And if you've read Trick Play , you might remember that Noah told Wyatt to check on Aron. I think this is what happens afterward since that's what Wyatt does when the story begins. The title "rebound" should be self-explanatory. Though considering how Aron's first friends-with-benefits arrangement went, you'd think he would've learned his lesson. But he and Wyatt have been a long time coming. This is almost a decade of mutual crushing and not doing a single fucking thing, finally coming to a resolution, one way or another. It's a short and sweet story about finally exploring feelings that have always been there (side note: tell me I'm not the only one noticing the similarities between this one and Blindsided). And though the romance progresses pretty fast, it's mostly believable because the author makes an effort to paint a clear picture of the history the two protagonists share. I liked this story. I especially liked that it wasn't focused on what happened between Aron and Noah. Yes, that played a part, but ultimately this was Aron and Wyatt's story.   3.5 It's Complicated - 3 Stars I find it appropriate that my feelings for this novella are, like its name, complicated. The story follows Max and Ash. Yes, Ollie's brother and his ex-fiance. And if you're not familiar with who Ollie is... well, you might like this one more than I did. Because while I ended up liking Max just fine by the end of Deke. Ash... not so much. And this book doesn't help matters. The plot is that Max, who everyone, including he, himself, thinks is straight, has actually been in love with his best friend Ash for years. Even before he started dating Ollie. But Max never said anything and then it was too late. Now, even though Ash and Ollie have been broken up for over a year, he can't make a move because it would hurt Ollie. Also, Ash is engaged. To a total douchebag. And only because after years of Ollie not willing to come out or get married, this new guy, who does want to get married, seems like a good option. It's a terrible logic but it makes sense. And usually, I'd feel bad for someone in Ash's position. Not in this case. You see, Ash spends a lot of the book blaming Ollie for his issues. And yes, Ollie putting his career first wasn't a great thing for him to do. But not once does Ash think to apologize to his ex about the fact that he spent a significant portion of their relationship trying to force Ollie to come out. That is not an acceptable thing to do. Yes, you can break up with someone if you don't want to be back in the closet, but no one has the right to force another to come out. Especially when it involves a homophobic environment. So yes, I had no issue with the relationship between Ash and Max and I do like the story. But Ash himself never grew on me and, in turn, I never truly enjoyed the novella.   4.5 Winning You - 4.25 Stars This was, surprisingly, my favourite of the three. I knew neither of the two protagonists beforehand (pretty sure this was the first time they showed up in the series) and the book was separate from the events of the rest of the series. The only links it had were to the next book, Hat Trick . The MCs are Marty and Luce. They win a date with one another (music festival) via a charity raffle, and both have ulterior motives for taking part in the raffle. Marty wants to see his favourite band perform. He also claims that the lead singer will see him and fall in love and they'll live happily ever after. Luce's motive I won't reveal, but let's just say that, once they meet, the connection they feel plus their fun banter ensures that getting to know each other, and spending time together, becomes a priority. The story is just so fun and light. The interactions between the protagonists are hilarious but also fucking adorable. I really like Marty especially. Yes, there was a bit of an insta-connection thing going but I didn't mind it much. I liked the two together and I loved the direction their story took. Now I want the last book in the series even more because I'll hopefully get to see these two as well.

The world of Fake Boyfriend gets expanded by these 3 stories that tell us what happens to some the side characters. And they are as great as the main stories. 1. Rebound - Aron is upset Noah (Trick Play story) has broken things off with him. His friend Wyatt comes to offer support and a bottle of tequila. Wyatt has only recently broken off with his cheating boyfriend. Once all the alcohol is done, they get the great idea to be each other's rebounds. Wyatt has only recently broken off with his cheating boyfriend. Once all the alcohol is done, they get the great idea to be each other's rebounds. Wyatt had a crush on Aron when they first met and all those feelings return. Aron realizes he had his soul mate by his side all this time. 2. It's Complicated - Ash and Max have been friends since childhood. Ash always had a crush on his straight best friend Max but decided that they had no future. So he turns his love to Max's brother Ollie (Deke story) but things don't work out. After the break up he meets someone new and gets engaged but realizes he's not in love. He runs to Max after breaking off his engagement only to find Max making out with a guy. His straight best friend isn't so straight afterall. Max confesses he realized he fell in love with Ash a long time ago but Ash was dating his brother Ollie. After they broke up, he didn't pursue it because Ash was his brother's ex-boyfriend. But their feelings are too big to hold back any longer. Max speaks to Ollie and confesses his love. Ollie isn't too happy but understands Max and Ash have a true love that cannot be denied 3. Winning You - Marty and Luce enter the Heart2Heart charity to win tickets to a concert, but for different reasons. Neither one is interested in the real reason for the charity, to meet and fall in love. Marty entered because he wanted to go to the concert to see his favorite band. Luce entered because he wanted to see how the concert he organized was doing after being put on mandatory time off. But the chemistry between them was off the charts. Soon the concert was forgotten and it was all about each other. I just loved Marty's snarkiness. This story is leads us into the next Fake Boyfriend book. I can't wait

Rebound This never felt like much more than a rebound. I liked the idea more than execution of these two together. It's Complicated This was my favorite of this anthology. The angst with Max and Ash was real and palpable. Their history really came through even in the short format. I loved how things developed between them. There was so much pain in their past that they had to deal with to find a happiness together. There was were family issues, and friendship issues. I loved this story lots. Winning You ★★★★ This one was good for a insta-love type story. Really these two met and fell for each other very quickly, but I liked their relationship. They didn't expect to meet and like each other, but their time together grew into something interesting. They were an interesting duo and I wanted to get to know each other better. I liked how they met and how the relationship developed out of it.

~ Rebound ~ Cute Short story. I was wondering what the Deal was with Aron and Wyatt and this is a good look at how they end up together after the whole Aron and Noah fiasco. I liked this book though and it was cute to see how Aron and Wyatt ended up together.

Great collection of short stories that add wonderfully to the Fake Boyfriend series with both new and reocurring characters. Content warnings include: sex on-page, break-up, unconsensual kissing; mentions of cheating, sexual relationship where one person is in a higher/superior position regarding their careers. Individual ratings and reviews: Rebound: 3.5 stars This is Wyatt and Aron's story and ties in with events in Trick Play. It was cute with a rebound-fuck-turns-serious, friends-to-lovers and a bit of a second chance storyline. I liked both Wyatt and Aron, and it's best to read it as part of the series. While I did like it, it does feel like the entire middle part is missing. It's Complicated: 4.5 stars Max and Ash's story, ties in with events in Deke. Another friends-to-lovers and second chance storyline, with lots and lots of pining and thinking-it's-unrequited-love. I liked it despite how heavy it is on the angst, which was often countered by the "we put the fun in dysfunctional" Strömberg family. Winning You: 4 stars Marty and Luce's story, which acts as a prequel to Hat Trick despite the two characters being new to the series. I absolutely adored this story as part of Heart2Heart: A Charity Anthology, Volume 2, and it might be my favourite story from this author. As much as I love that it is now extended... I like it less this way. I adore getting more from these characters, but the events of the extension just don't sit entirely right with me. A big chunk of time is missing in the middle, and the ending... It just felt a bit wrong to me. Still a wonderful story, I just prefer the unextended version. I received an ARC and reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

If you enjoyed the Fake Boyfriend Series, and enjoyed the secondary characters, this book is a fantastic read! These stories are ones that really do need to be read as part of the series though as they take place after the second, third and fourth book in the series. Rebound (taking place after Trick Play), has two of my favorite tropes: best friends and one drunken night! Add these two together and you have Aron and Wyatt, and their story of their friendship, their pasts and what they have had in front of them, in each other, all along! It's Complicated (taking place after Deke), is exactly what it says it is! COMPLICATED! Max (Ollie's brother) and Ash (Ollie's ex) have been best friends since childhood. Despite dating others, each man has wanted the other at some point. Are they willing to see where their feelings will take them? Winning You (a prequel to Hat Trick, and extended from Heart2Heart vol2), has more great tropes: age gap & opposites attracted! We get Marty and Luce who win a blind date in a raffle. But they couldn't be more different. Marty is young, engaging, vibrant man and Luce is an older, grumpier guy. Despite their initial differences, these two men find out they may be perfect for each other! I absolutely loved this book! This is a unique opportunity the author has given the readers to look into the lives of the much loved secondary characters. These stories, while not as long as the the primary books of the series, are just as well written, with vibrant and unique characters, rich environments and unique storylines! This is one not to miss (especially if you love the Fake Boyfriend Series as much as I did!)

Loved these three stories I’ll admit I didn’t care about Aron or Ash when I read the original Fake Boyfriend books, but these three short stories were excellent. The first two are friends-to-lovers featuring Aron (Noah’s ex) and Wyatt and then Ash (Ollie’s ex) and Max (Ollie’s brother). Aron and Wyatt are pretty low-angst, as they’ve been good friends for years who never crossed that line, even though they both considered it. Aron and Wyatt are pretty low-angst, as they’ve been good friends for years who never crossed that line, even though they both considered it. I really rooted for these two, because they were likable and they seemed like a good fit. Ash and Max are more complicated- longtime best friends and business partners, Ash gave up years ago wishing his straight best friend Max would ever reciprocate his feelings. He dated Max’s brother Ollie for years, and while that relationship was real, he never really got over Max. And Max takes a lot of years to figure out his real feelings for Ash, but once he does it’s too late because Ash is with his brother. So these two are a mess- secretly in love, scared to admit it, and facing the incredible awkwardness of having Ollie in the middle. This was a good story, and real to life in the complicated feelings between all three of them, but I don’t want complicated in a short story!! Wish this one was a little more clear cut... The final story was great- two guys meet through a charity concert giveaway and hit it off. This is a prequel of sorts for the final Fake Boyfriend book as the two characters wind up managing Jett/Jay’s band (Jett/Jay is the MC of the final book). This one got me excited for the final book!

Fake Boyfriend Breakaways is a collection of three short stories that are part of the Fake Boyfriend series universe created by Eden Finley. These are side characters from the main books of the series, so remember these books are not technically about fake relationships but are instead breakaways from that series. This bundle includes Rebound, It's Complicated and Winning You. In Rebound : Fake Boyfriend 2.5 , Aron and Wyatt decide to try to be each others rebound. Years of friendship turns to a passionate and strong connection that makes them realize what they have been missing out on all these years. Then, in It’s Complicated: Fake Boyfriend 3.5, its Max and Ash's turn to tell their tale. Best friends since childhood, these two have had a secret attraction for each other for years but keep missing their chances to see what could be. This book has some miscommunication, surprises, coming out, asking permissions and figuring out who is your true ONE.. And finally, in Winning You: Fake Boyfriend 4.5, Marty and Luce win a blind date through charity and find opposites attract in the best possible ways. An age gap romance that delivers heat, humor and sweetness. All three of these stories are sweet, short and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed each page. This is the perfect compliment to the rest of the Fake Boyfriend series.

This is a collection of three short stories in the Fake Boyfriend universe with dual POV. But they don't have the fake relationship trope. I've been waiting for Ash and Max's story since I read Deke, so I was super excited to read this. While these can be read as standalone, I recommend that you read them after reading the books in the series. Rebound (#2.5) I reread this story(it was available on her website before) even though I couldn't wait to read Ash and Max. I might be be a masochist. I loved the Fake Boyfriend series and was excited to see what the author would deliver in these follow-up shorts. I was even more excited to realize they weren’t simply extended epilogues but standalone shorts featuring an entirely new couple, with two involving secondary characters from the books. I loved the chance to see the other sides of the story with Noah and Ollie’s exes plus a prequel of sorts for the fifth book in the series. The shorts provided a more complete picture of the universe and cast of characters I’m always happy to read about. And since each short can stand on its own, the Breakaways collection is also a great way to sample the series and/or author if you’re yet to try them out. *eARC received via LesCourt Author Services. Rebound: 4stars I've really enjoyed this entire series so far, and this novella was no exception! I'd definitely recommend you read the first two novels (especially book 2) to get the context for this one, though I *think* it can probably be read as a standalone. It’s Complicated: 4 stars I really don't like stories where the love interest used to date the MC's sibling, particularly if they had a serious relationship. That being said, this is probably one of the best I've read for that trope. I Rebound: 4stars I've really enjoyed this entire series so far, and this novella was no exception! Great chemistry, and super hot sex, and if I didn't really, really dislike this trope, it probably would have been a 5 star, but even well written, I have a hard time absolutely loving any story with that trope. Winning You: 5 stars I read this as part of the Heart2Heart Anthology and gave it 5 stars. TBH, I'm guessing it would probably have been a 4 star read in normal context, but everything else in that book was so bad, Eden's story really shined. Didn't reread here, but leaving the 5 star rating anyway. :)

Rebound 3 stars (read it when it was released separately) It's complicated 3.5 stars "It's over the top dramatic" would also have been a fitting title. Aside from that I liked both Ash and Max, but Max was definitely the best character of them. Winning you 5 stars I got a glimpse of Marty and Luce in Hat Trick and this short really does them justice. It was a joy read with lots of fun and a bit heartache.

It was great to step back in the Fake Boyfriend world again. A funny and sexy collection of stories from side characters of the main series. We get to catch up with old friends while getting to know others better as we watch them fall in love. I loved the sassy, fun writing style this author has that makes you feel like you really get to know her guys. Making their hurts and pain and disappointments just as heartbreaking and real as the joy in their love.
